Solid GameJan 31, 2007

Very good game for the money. I'm a huge fan of the PC version and the PSP version is just as intense and entertaining. I was pleasantly surprised with the playability of D-Day with the single toggle stick on the PSP.

A good game for the PSP!Apr 04, 2007
This is an awesome game!!!!! The graphics are good but a little choppy...... it slows down during game play. The controls are fairly easy. Squad commands are too. I did beat the game without using the situation thing...... don't know what thats for........ I live in China and they sell a bunch of PSP, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gameboy, Nintendo DS, Wii and a bunch of other games here for free!!!!!!!!! I don't support them though...... Never support people selling fake stuff! It's wrong....and i wish it was stoped. So I buy every thing of Amazon..... so their support is fantastic.......Anyway.......back to the game. The game is one of the best FPS that is very realistic (except you can get shoot a bunch of times and not die). I like that you have to think about stuff in some levels to beat it. Overall this game is the "Cats PJ's". If you like Strategy based FPS..... This games for you...

A half decent game for a not so decent priceJan 16, 2007
By C. Clawson If this game was 19.99 it would be worth the money.
the graphics on this game are ok, the controls arent very good and the gameplay itself isnt all that great for an FPS. If you have to have a WWII type FPS go for meal of honor. It provides for a much better gaming experiance
It's okJun 26, 2010

Not my favorite. some levels are really hard and if you die, even at the end of a mission, you have to go all the way back to the beginning of that mission..so no saved progress during a mission. I hate that.

a great fun game to play, but has some tech glitchesJun 16, 2007
By grady cat This is a great game - and it's my first psp experience and i've been enjoying it very much so. I'm a hard core pc gamer - so i would never waste my time with this game on the pc - so it's perfect for console. I've noticed that psp is more M rated for smarter older folks like myself, where as the gameboy is more E rated and family oriented. That said - the gore is pretty good - blood effects are ok - and it's very intense when the battles are raging. It's a great game for the psp - great to play while waiting for the train or sitting on the portch. Ok - now the OPPS part.
Saving the game is huge pain in the a-- . I've had to replay several chapters just to get back to where I was after I turned off my machine. What it likes to do is reload a checkpoint in a chapter. There's an average of 5-10 check points in a chapter. So if I've made it to the last check point and I've got to end the game I'm SOL when I come back to it. this is very frustrating. Also - I like gore - I like to see blood and guts - especially if it's coming from a freakin' Nazi! So much to my dismay, once the Nazis have been shot, they disappear - only to leave their weapons behind. I really don't like that - especially when the American bodies don't disappear! Uncool! I look forward to when game development can leave the bloodied mangled enemy bodies behind.
Another glitch worth mentioning - during intense hand to hand fighting situations it does slow down. The controls are a little wacko too - but that could be a pc gamer thing - I'm still not entirely used to the console thing yet. Also - the sounds are pretty realistic - but the word play between characters gets redundant and irritating at times.
Overall this is a very entertaining game - and it does require some skill and thought as you are commanding a squad and much of the success of the game comes with commanding the squad properly. I think the graphics in the game are quite good considering what it is - a PSP - this isn't a pc desktop with 512 or vram! So overall I'm very impressed despite the glitches mentioned above. I would recommend this game to others...
