By Adam I purchased this game back when it was on gold box deal for $15. I played if for a bit then life got in the way so I had to put it away for a couple weeks. Finally I got back into it and I really like this game.
Granted it is very similar to the GTA series but what are you going to play when you've played that series twice over. I never really looked to deep into the game before I purchased it and thought that it was just set in the 70's but then found out that you play the character in the 70's up until he is framed for a crime and then fast forward to 2006 to seek your revenge.
This is a great (adult) game and perfect for venting your frustrations after a long day at work. I agree the game is not perfect, but take it for what it is a fun game at a bargin price.
A strong 4 out of 5!

Hours of fun!Jan 28, 2008
By N. Bennett My husband a big fan. He likes to drive the different types of cars. I am not a big fan of the hand brake feature, it hard to learn to use. It's fun for the fact i only paid $15.99 for it. We both like the story line and it is fun to do the little side jobs. Cops are fun to out run but watch out for the chopper it gets you everytime.

Great Game - NOT for kids!!!!!Jan 15, 2008

I bought the Wii for Christmas for my fiancee.....he loves it and loves the game - we both actually play it and as you go through the different boroughs you find different things and levels all the time. Similar to the Grand Theft Auto's but different. Not for children though! A lot of curse words....17+ - but FUN for the mature adults ;)

Violent with the language and shooting...still, for those who like grand theft auto types of games, this is pretty fun.
The manual isn't great, though. We were in 3rd person view (which we liked) and are now stuck in first person and can't figure out how to switch...anyone know?
