5The best shooting controls on the Wii!Jun 19, 2007
By ddrueckhammer
Scarface: The World is Yours is a game that can easily be labeled as "just another port" on the Wii. Unfortunately, with the current prevalence of third-party cash-ins on the system, any game that isn't original will be a target for criticism.

After playing Scarface on the Wii, it is immediately apparent that this isn't "just another port". It is true that the core story and gameplay haven't changed from last Fall's Xbox and PS2 versions of the game, but there has been enough attention given to other areas of the game to make it fresh and very appealing on the Wii.

I can say with all seriousness that the controls are the best on any console shooter ever made. The controls handle like PC shooters where you can freelook (aim and look around the screen at the same time.) Red Steel attempted this at the launch of the Wii, unfortunately, Ubisoft chose to make the bounding box (invisible box that determines the character's turning radius) the entire screen.

If you are looking for a sandbox shooter on the Wii that gets it right, this is the best one available on the Wii right now and probably this year. Be forewarned, this game is a violent and profane undertaking so kids and the weak at heart may not apply. Overall though, the gameplay, setting, music, voice acting, and especially the control scheme add up to a very compelling package. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a great shooter on the Wii or anyone who wants to play a long and vulgar sandbox game in the vein of GTA on the Wii. If this game were a new game on the Wii it would be approaching a 9.0+ game. You can't go wrong.

5Its a nice; high fiveJun 13, 2007
By Thomas Hewitt "Leatherface"
I played the pc and xbox verison of this game and was amazed. I just got the wii verison today and i'm loving it. It is almost like the game was made for the wii. The wii remote feature is a perfect match for the shooting and the load times are short. The graphics are just right and I strongly feel that if you own a wii, your game collection can't be without this game.

5tuck the kids in and plug in the earphones its ScarfaceJun 23, 2007
By Sandi L. Caffarello "Vince"
Yes kids its finaly here the port of last years semi-hit Scarface. The game is pretty much unchanged graphicly and the core gameplay is the same but the main gimic of this game is the tight controls. This game has the best use of the wii mote/nunchuck on any 3rd person game for the wii. The camera has 4 levels of sensitivity so its good for any gamer's comfort level. The only problem I have with this game is that it is the most profanity I have ever heard now I'am a High school student and I have heard my share of profanity but comon one of tony's lines is "F*&@ S%@# @$$", and "FU you Colobian F" comon is that really nessacary well it is scarface so i guess yea. Although the profanity is bad the story is good its an alternate version of the end of scarface the movie Tony livs and its up to you to build up his empire. All in all the controls are tight story is nice and sounds/voices are really good. If you are looking for a good MATURE game for the wii this is it

5A truly great game for the wiiMay 12, 2010
By James Fitzsimmons
I have to say I was very impressed by this game. The quality shines through at every level, from the music (you can select certain music themes, playlists, and tracks as if you had an ipod) to the voice acting to the controls (the targeting system is great). The other thing about this game that differentiates it from many other wii titles is that there are many, many different skills that you have to use. And I'm not talking about mini-games either. So its part driving game, part third-person shooter (or first person, whenever Tony becomes enraged), part 'trigger/time' game (so there are many times when you have to do something in a specific amount of time, or time your button-pushing in order to achieve certain rewards, such as in fast-talking police), and part RPG (there are upgrades and different weapons/cars). I haven't played through the whole thing yet, so I don't know if there's a puzzle game aspect (unless you count gambling with slots or poker, which you can do if you're feeling lucky).

If you are a GTA fan or a Wii gamer who likes RE4, Cursed Mountain, or other types of walk-explore third person games in that genre, you will like this game. No doubt. If you are a Mario fan, though, and can't/don't want to handle the violence/language (and there is, admittedly, a lot), then you probably shouldn't go for this game (if you do, though, put the kids to bed and use earbuds or something. Tony is pretty vulgar, even when he's making a deposit at the bank and being 'charming'. I was fairly shocked, and I'm pretty jaded!).
