Very EntertainingJul 24, 2008
By Hillary I received this game with the Wii console that was a birthday present from my family. As no one knew what game I wanted (I don't think I even knew if I were to look myself), this was bought in hopes that it would be my kind of game. When I first saw it, I have to admit I was skeptical. For one, I'm horrible at action games, tend to avoid games based off of movies, not to mention that I have never seen the Narnia movies, nor have I read any of the books.
I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally popped the game disc into my Wii, and couldn't stop playing for hours afterwards.
The environments and graphics are simply gorgeous, and there are little boundaries to exploration. The game is quest based, and you can complete the quests in any order in the area that you are in. There are little puzzles that aren't so complex that they're frustrating, but they're hidden around for you to find to unlock bonus content on the main menu (such as artwork and videos).
I find the difficulty to be perfect to enjoy the game. It's not frustratingly difficult (so far), but it does take a little bit of thinking and exploring to find out what to do next (and if you get stuck, there's a log you can pull up on the screen that has goals for you and hints on how to complete them).
Another thing I found myself enjoying was the fact that there are multiple characters for you to switch whenever you feel like it. Certain characters are needed to accomplish certain tasks (there are advantages to being smaller, or being stronger, or being able to use a bow, etc.), and the characters that are unused will run around and help you out when you need them (fighting enemies, or simultaneously pulling another lever).
All in all it is a FUN game that I recommend to anyone. The reviews I have read online are mixed, but I wonder if some criticism is a bit harsh. So far I have not found myself bored by ANY means, and I am very happy to have it in my game library.

Enjoyable Adventure Game - Recommended!Dec 03, 2008

If you are a Narnia fan, you will likely love "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" game for the Wii.
Each of the characters has special abilities that can be mastered to help complete the challenges. Two players can join forces at the same time. It is a very challenging game, with a lot puzzles and battles through out. The game has also has unlockable mini-games and photo galleries.
With good graphics and easy to master controls, this is a very good game for the Wii.

One Awesome gameJul 30, 2010
I think this game is worth the money. I enjoyed it a lot. The controls are simple to understand. I figured them out in a few minutes. I think that this game is best for people who one, like fighting, two, like puzzles, three, like adventure. So I would not recommend this a five-year old for two reasons. One, the puzzles require a lot of patience and advanced thinking, and two, some levels might frighten children. For example, there is this one level where Peter needs a grappling hook so he can climb up the cliff. So he and Edmund go into this cave to find it. You have to wander around in this dark, somewhat spooky cave with a torch that can be blown out by the wind gusts blowing in the cave if you are not careful. And when your torch is out, the bats come after you. You can't see, them, but they maul you and kill you. Killer bats. Not exactly a happy, peaceful kind of level. And another level where the Pevensies search for their treasure. There are giant cockroaches scurrying all over the floor. So it's an awesome game for kids who can distinguish graphic video games from real life, but it might give your little kid nightmares. If you're 10 yrs or older, though, you will love this game. The first time I played, I didn't stop for hours! Though I do think that it's more of a boy game. I'm a boy, and I love it, but I don't think most girls are very much into this type of game. I mean, the female characters do have their scenes in the game, but their scenes are violent too. Lucy throws daggers (in essence, short swords) and Susan, along with her bow and quiver of arrows (which is never empty, by the way) has a light sword! No kidding! So they are just as violent. Overall, this game is really cool for preteens, (though I think it's geared toward the male audience), but not a good choice for small children. It does fit its rating of T for Violence. I love this game, it is the highlight of my game library. 5 stars!!!
P.S. The game contains never before seen clips that didn't make it into the movie! With the same actors and everything!

Great multiplayer and single player funDec 31, 2008
By M. N. Lewis I got this game yesterday, my friend and i found it addicting almost from the start. We enjoy playing as the different characters, and being able to change who you are in the group.

Entertaining and fun family timeFeb 22, 2010
By Michael McLeod This is an enjoyable game for the $10 I paid for it. My 6 yo daughter has enjoyed playing it but some of the puzzles are not obvious to her. Sometimes even I have trouble figuring out what we are supposed to do. I like the ability of player 2 to join and leave at will and the multi-character playability. There is no consequence of death in the game so that is nice for young players.
Overall a 4/5 star game. It will be a breeze and perhaps even boring for teenagers but 10 and under group should enjoy it.
