Microsoft's latest OS update for the Xbox 360 has disabled the use of all 3rd party Memory Units. Including THIS ONE.
Don't buy this if you actually expect to be able to use this.

Purchased one last week. Great promise, but failed execution. My profile kept getting corrupted, games saves kept dissapearing from the memory card.
After all, the most important thing in the console, is the information itself. Spend a little more, and go for a Microsoft hard drive instead, which is what I am doing. And keep a Microsoft memory card for your profile if you need to carry it around.

This item is great, I love it and never had a single problem until now. Since Microsoft release the October 28, 2009 update firmware, now this Datel MU no longer works. I think it's horrible that Microsoft is monopolizing their consoles.
I hope that there will be a work around for this product, since the 360 system no longer recognizes this MU because of the update. My rating that I gave was based on before the update, because it did exactly what it was suppose to and worked.

BE VERY CAREFUL AND WATCH FOR OVERHEATING WHILE CONNECTED TO LAPTOP WHEN USING IN USB ADAPTER... I PURCHASED THIS ITEM 7/2011 FOR GAME SAVES BETWEEN MY CONSOLE AND LAPTOP. PROGRAM LOADED OK BUT IT DOESN'T RECOGNIZE ANY GAMESAVES THAT WAS ALREADY SAVED TO MY LAPTOP. WHILE USING THE USB ADAPTER MY COMPUTER SHOWS NOTHING IS CONNECTED AND IN FEW SECONDS THE MEMORY MAX UNIT GETS EXTREMELY HOT WITH MICRO CARD IN OR OUT. I DON'T THINK THIS IS GOOD FOR MY 4 GB CARD INCLUDED. WHEN I INSTALL THE MICRO CARD IN A SD CARD ADAPTER AND PLUG INTO LAPTOP IT IS RECOGNIZED WITH NO OVER HEATING PROBLEM. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF USED UNATTENDED THERE IS NO EXAGGERATION HERE ON HOW HOT THE UNIT GETS WHEN USED WITH USB ADAPTER!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY
